His net worth as of today stands at $122.8 billion. He owns 16% of e-commerce colossus Amazon, which he founded in a garage in Seattle in 1994.
In second place is former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates with a net worth of $90 billion as of the above date while investor Warren Buffet is in third spot. The top 10 which are listed below also include Facebook CEO and tech giant Mark Zuckerberg at number 5 while Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin come in at number 12 and 13 respectively.
The highest ranked woman on the Forbes billionaire list is Alice Walton, the only daughter of Walmart founder Sam Walton. She comes in at number 16 on the list with a net worth of $46 billion.
