Companies in the tech sector are currently going through a period of immense growth with consumer electronics, social media and online shopping bringing about a new evolution to the internet age.

This is evident from the Forbes list of most valuable brands at the end of 2016 which is dominated by tech companies with Apple, Google and Microsoft leading the list in the top 3 spots. Facebook (#5) and IBM (#7) round off the tech companies included in the top 10 most valuable brands which also includes popular household names such as Coca-Cola (#4), Disney (#8) and McDonald’s (#9).
